Latin music’s most iconic duo, Wisin & Yandel have reached #1 on Latin radio in the United States and Puerto Rico with "Reggaetón en lo Oscuro" according to Billboard's "Latin Airplay" chart. The song is their first official single as a duo in six years.


"Reggaetón en lo Oscuro" is also the first single off their most anticipated album ever Los Campeones del Pueblo/The Big Leagues which marked their return as a duo after a hiatus of more than five years. Los Campeones del Pueblo / The Big Leagues is the duo's tenth studio album and the first one they have recorded together since the multi-award-winning album Líderes.

"Reggaetón en lo Oscuro" was written by Wisin, Yandel, Luis Ángel O'Neill, Víctor Viera Moore and José Torres Castro and produced by Víctor Viera Moore (aka "Jumbo"). 

The video was shot in the La Perla neighborhood in San Juan, Puerto Rico by director Daniel Durán of 2 Wolves Films.  

Yandel began his career in 1998.  He is a phenomenally successful Puerto Rican vocalist, songwriter, musician, and record producer; a reggaetón artist.  Having been a bona fide superstar in a solid fifteen-year career with the duo of Wisin & Yandel, he took a new turn as a soloist in 2014, touring the US. Yandel’s De Líder a Leyenda VIP Tour and successfully played through the summer to sold-out houses in New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Chicago and Orlando and Latin America.  His solo album, released in November 2013, De Líder a Leyenda debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, #9 on the Top Rap Albums chart, was certified gold (Latin) by the RIAA. In March 2014, and received various nominations including Latin Grammy.   

In October 2014 Yandel became the first artist of his genre to record a TV special for the prestigious network HBO Latino.  He also recorded a new track, “Marcando Territorio,” for Catch the Throne: The Mixtape Vol. 2, the mixtape soundtrack featuring multiple artists for HBO’s megahit series Game of Thrones. November 2015 marked the arrival of the highly anticipated production title “Dangerous”.  Dangerous climbed achieved a #1 on sales the week of its release and received Latin Grammy, Latin American Music Awards, Lo Nuestro and Billboard Latin Music Awards nominations. 

The same month, the singer/producer scored another first, by becoming the first Latino artist to stream a live concert via Tidal and performing live at the boxing match produced by HBO Cotto vs. Canelo.  Some of his musical collaborations in general and Hispanic market include:  J-Lo, Akon, R.
