CNCO becomes one of Latin pop's most influential and prolific hit-makers.
Since making their debut in 2015, CNCO has quietly become one of the biggest acts in the world. With over 3 billion cumulative streams, 6.5 billion total music video views, 12 GOLD, and PLATINUM certifications in the U.S. alone and countless sold-out shows, their influence can be felt in nearly every corner of the globe.
After a surprise single release on Friday, CNCO took the VMA mainstage for the first time with a showstopping performance of their newest hit “Beso.” As one of only two Latin acts of the night, the boys showed off their signature smooth choreography and high energy stage presence while performing in front of a live audience of fans at a special drive-in location, sponsored by Toyota.
After months in quarantine, and a tease to their fans for the past few weeks of an unidentified 14 second audio of a song, on Friday, CNCO dropped “Beso” as a surprise to their fans. Since the songs release, it has received over 3 million cumulative streams, landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists, in the U.S. and 14 other territories, in addition to Latin Pop Hits and Latin Flavor. Furthermore, “Beso” shot straight to #1 on Apple Music’s Latin Songs chart, as well as playlisted on Puro Pop, ¡Dale Play!, New Music Daily and multiple others, as well as trended at #7 worldwide on YouTube on the audio video.

Additionally, CNCO closed out the iconic night by taking home their first VMA for “Best Quarantine Performance,” an exciting win in a general market category, beating out heavy weights including Lady Gaga, Post Malone and John Legend. After months in quarantine, and a tease to their fans for the past few weeks of an unidentified 14 second audio of a song, the award-winning, multiplatinum Latin American boy band, CNCO surprise their fans with the highly anticipated release of their new single “Beso.”
In just four years, CNCO have become one of Latin pop's most influential and prolific hit-makers. With two number #1 albums under their belt, the group has garnered numerous awards including: Latin American Music Awards, Premios Juventud (Youth Awards), Billboard Latin Music Awards, Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios Tu Mundo (Your World Awards), iHeartRadio Music Awards, Kids Choice Award and a Teen Choice Award. With over 3 billion cumulative streams, 6.5 billion total music video views, 12 GOLD and PLATINUM certifications in the U.S. alone and countless sold out shows, their influence can be felt in nearly every corner of the globe.
Award-winning, multiplatinum Latin-American group, CNCO drop their new single, “Mis Ojos Lloran Por Ti,” today. The track, which is the second release off of the groups upcoming third studio album, Déjà Vu, reimagines the 1996 hit by Puerto Rican rapper Big Boy and Angel Lopez. The accompanying visual, directed by renowned director Carlos Perez, pays homage to *NSYNC’s iconic “Tearin’ Up My Heart” video, which was released within the same year.
For the upcoming concept project, the group flipped the script and reimagined classics from the past few decades that inspired them in different ways. Not only did the five vocalists breathe new life into these songs, but they also evoked a bit of nostalgia at the same time. Additionally, coinciding each release, the group is also unveiling conceptual videos that all interconnect, which kicked off with 2 trailers released early last week.
In conjunction with the announce, CNCO also revealed the first song off the project, “Tan Enamorados.” The track, which is the group’s new take of the song made widely popular in the 80’s by Ricardo Montaner, dropped alongside the Carlos Pérez directed visual, which payed homage to a major pop culture moment of 1988, the same year the song came out, with references to New Kids On The Block’s, “(You’ve Got It) The Right Stuff”
